Satellite Reign starts beta testing cyberpunk co-op play

Is Satellite Reign on your radar? If you’re a fan of high-tech environments and don’t mind some frantic isometric action, it really should be. According to the official description, the game is “a real-time, class-based strategy game, set in an open-world cyberpunk city. You command a group of four agents through rain-soaked, neon-lit streets, where the law is the will of mega-corporations.”

We assume that Massively OP is one of these mega-corps. All hail Mecha-Mo!

This title is making its way into the online multiplayer space with its new co-op mode, which is currently in beta testing. To help players connect to each other around the world, the team has released a patch that will allow users to hook up with each other directly if desired, thereby circumventing regional blocks and high latency.

You really need to check out Satellite Reign’s gameplay video to get a taste for the possibilities that this cyberpunk world holds. Activating the holo-net in three… two… one…
