Investigate A Cult In This Dying Light: The Following Launch Trailer
To celebrate today’s launch of Dying Light: The Following, developer Techland released a new trailer for the DLC. The teaser hints at the sinister nature of The Following's cult-centered storyline.
Dying Light: The Following takes on a different tone than the main game, according to producer Tymon Smektała. He cites TV mysteries Twin Peaks and X-Files as inspirations.
Elements of those paranormal cult classics are certainly present in this trailer. In order to find a possible cure for the virus, series protagonist Kyle Crane must confront a mysterious masked cult whose members are somehow immune to infection.
Dying Light: The Following is available for $19.99 as an add-on to the main game. Those who purchased the game’s season pass can get the DLC as well, and there’s even an Enhanced Edition that includes the original title with all its DLC built-in for newcomers to the series who want the entire experience.
