Wolfenstein: The New Order Voice Actor Hints At A Sequel

by Mike Futter on Sep 23, 2015 at 03:17 AM

Machine Games took on the classic Wolfenstein franchise last year and did an impressive job balancing traditional gameplay and contemporary sensibilities. If that kind of shooter is your jam, you might have more to look forward to.

Actress Alicja Bachleda-Curuś, who played Anya in Wolfenstein: The New Order, strongly implied during an interview with Polish television station TVN that a sequel is on the way. While she doesn’t mention the game by name, she does offer plenty of context.

“I'm working on a video game, first part of which I have already made,” she said to TVN (and translated by Eurogamer Poland). “Now we're making a second one, which will take two more years. I played this game as a child. I was very happy when I got to the point where I could shoot Hitler."

We’ve reached out to Bethesda for comment, and we’ll update should we receive a response.

Our Take
Bachleda-Curuś’ Anya was a pivotal character in Wolfenstein: The New Order, bringing the game’s humanity to the forefront. I wrote about the character and the more hidden aspects of her story shortly after the game was released. If you’re ok with spoilers, you can read it here.
